Brush 15 was originally a Brush Truck with a pump, 230 gallons of water, and all the equipment for fighting brush fires and wild fires.... |

But also a Real Fire Fighting Machine!

....but now something new has been added. Thanks to a couple of grants including a forestry grant and a State of Pennsylvania grant, a CAFS system has been added to the truck. |

A Compressed Air Foam System - CAFS
|
|
|
|
The CET CAFS Model 50 CFM Diesel system is complimented with a FoamPro System 1600 foam injector unit. The foamPro system delivers from 0.1% to 1.0% foam concentrate to the foam injector. The system, used with Class A foam, is capable of delivering a wet, medium or dry foam blanket for use from fire suppression to overhaul operations. The CAFS system can be used on all types of fires including Structural, Vehicular, and Wild Land Fires. |
