RESCUE 15...

The Evolution of Rescue 15 nears completion....

I received the following from Stuart Margerum of Swab Wagon Company Wednesday June 6, 2001.

"Delivery June 13, 2001"

"Clem,

I saw your truck was seeing daylight for the first time this morning, so I thought I would snap a few photos. The man in the blue shirt is Donald Green, our electrical foreman. He was in the process of running some electrical tests. The only thing needed on the outside of the truck is the stainless steel wheel covers, otherwise this is the finished appearance. I think it's a pretty sharp looking truck if I do say so myself. We'll finish the compartment work, run all of our tests, I'll test drive it (of course), then clean it up, and turn the keys over to Mike and his crew on Wednesday the 13th. As with SWAB tradition, we'll be breaking several bottles of Champagne across the hood as they start it up for the first time. Just kidding of course, though light celebration is expected.

I guess this will be going on your web site, so I'd like to give a shout out to all the guys in our shop who worked so hard to make my first new truck a success. Thanks a lot and I'm looking forward to working with everybody the next time around. I'd also like to say how great it's been to work for Mike and his crew. They're a fun group of guys and I hope to have more customers like them in the future.

- Stuart"
