History of EMS
Every member of the Hepburn Twp. Vol. Fire Co. donates their time and stands ready to risk their personal safety to help our neighbors in need at any time of the day or night with no monetary compensation. We are proud to be a 100% volunteer organization, serving Hepburn and Lycoming Townships since 1953. Our core of Emergency Medical Technicians, First Responders and ambulance attendants take pride in providing a recognized certified emergency medical response system for the community. These well-trained individuals have spent countless volunteer hours to be certified to respond and also in continuing education programs to keep them abreast of current, and new, practices.

2009 Ambulance Subscription Drive

We are asking for the support of our neighbors in Hepburn and Lycoming Townships during our annual Ambulance/EMS subscription drive. As volunteers, it is gratifying to know that our neighbors recognize and value the high quality emergency services we provide for residents, businesses and visitors.

We rely on your support as subscribers to help defray the costs of day-to-day operations, equipment maintenance and upgrades, and training.

What does it do for you?

Your tax-deductible ambulance subscription not only gives you peace of mind that the high level of service you have come to expect and deserve will continue to be there when you or your loved ones need it most, but it also assures that you will not be saddled with a large out-of-pocket expense for emergency care and transport as a result of an injury or health condition.

Should you need to use our emergency ambulance service, HTVFC-EMS will submit a bill to your insurance provider. If you are a subscriber, we will accept the payment made by your insurance provider as payment and you will not be required to pay anything further. With the rapidly rising cost of emergency services, this could potentially save you hundreds of dollars in out of pocket costs.
