May 8, 2005: A Woods Fire in Hepburn Township

Station 15 was dispatched to a "Woods Fire" on Hemlock Hollow Road this afternoon. When crews arrived the fire had spread down the hill from this new home site. About 4000 gallons of water and a large complement of firefighters and apparatus were used to bring this fire under control.

Hepburn Township was assisted by Eldred Township, Trout Run , Old Lycoming Twp., Independent Fire Company from South Williamsport, Woodward Township and the Bureau of Forestry..

Tanker 15 supplied water to Brush 15, Brush 22 and a 1 3/4" hand line.

The firfe is just down the bank in fron of Tanker 15.
