Christmas Day!!! Enjoying family, eating holiday food and just enjoying the holiday! Well the day took on new meaning just after 7 pm. Larry's Creek Fire Dept of Jersey Shore Citizens Fire Department, Hepburn Twp Fire Department, Woodward Township Fire Department and Trout Run Fire Department were banged out for a two-alarm structure fire on Stony Gap Road in Anthony Township.

The location was remote and the lane to the structure was icy and treacherous! Vehicles slid on the ice, but they did make it to the scene. The fire was well involved when Citizens Fire Chief Jerold Ross arrived on the scene. A water supply was established by punching a hole in an adjacent pond. Hepburn's Tanker 15 drafted water from the pond.

A few firefighters did slip on the ice but fortunately no one was injured.
