February 23, 2007: Structure Fire with possible entrapment in Lycoming Township

Mill Hill Road in Lycoming Township was the location of a 2:38 am "Working Box" Fire. Multiple companies responded with the Hepburn Township Volunteer Fire Company to this fully involved log home. It was reported as a "possible entrapment" of one individual. However, no one was found and the location of the individual, 48 year old Michael Fink, is still unknown. If you know of his where-abouts, please contact Old Lycoming Police Department.

Many Fire Departments were released from the scene by about 7:00 am. However, personnel from Hepburn Township, Trout Run, and Montoursville sifted through the debris looking for any signs of the possible entrapped victim. The last crews left the scene about 1:30 pm that day - finding no one entrapped.

On Saturday, February 24, 2007, approximately 100 volunteers returned to the scene to re-search not only the debris, but also the surrounding fields and woods looking for Mr. Fink. The efforts revealed no new information.
