January 6, 2008: Vehicle in to a tree on Slacks Run north of Bodines

Hepburn Twp Fire Co., along with Old Lycoming Fire Co., was special called to a vehicle accident with entrapment in Lewis Township a little after 3:00 am today. Trout Run and Ralston Vol. Fire Companies had already been dispatched and were on the scene. They had found a vehicle into a tree with the tree partially on the vehicle. Wires were also overhead. Trout Run and Ralston secured the vehicle and removed the roof of the truck.

When Station 15 arrived, we were asked to remove the door and assist in extrication. Station 14's rams were then used to perform a dash roll-up. After the victim was removed from the vehicle, Trout Run's Ambulance transported. The victim was later transported by Life Flight.
