according to Fire Chief Jeffrey Tempesco...
"When emergency units arrived, they found brush and debris of an old barn, and an old trash machine involved. A shed less than 5' away was not involved. The fire was extinguished by using E14-1, T15, & B15. Manpower from B14 also assisted. Approximately 3125 gallons of water was used to extinguish the fire (E14-1, T15, B15).
The owner was burning brush yesterday. There had been no burning today. Mrs. Kinley said that around 1500 hrs today, they noticed the brush pile from yesterday had re-kindled. They extinguished that with buckets of water. Just before calling us, she noticed that the brush and barn debris below where they had been burning yesterday had caught fire. It was very windy at the time of the fire and it is believed that a spark from the brush pile blew into the area of the barn igniting the fire.
There was no loss as the downed structure and old trash machine had no value according to Mrs. Kinley."
