Beauty's Run Road • July 14, 2001 • Entrapment • A Mutual Aid Success

In the dark evening hour of 9:00 pm on Saturday July 14, 2001, the Hepburn Township Volunteer Fire Company responded to a vehicle accident with entrapment. The accident was located over an embankment on the southern side of Beauty's Run Road just west of Kinley Road. The Hepburn Twp. Vol. Fire Co., Old Lycoming Twp. Vol. Fire Co. and the Williamsport Bureau of Fire worked together to free the lone male victim.Below is a scene of this incident. Teamwork really paid off!

At 9:49 pm,, crews work to extricate the victim. This view is looking down the embankment from Beautys Run Road. The vehicle is headed in an westerly direction.

At 9:52 pm, the victim is passed up the human chain to safety.
