A Vehicle Fire on 6015 • July 27, 2001

Friday July 27, at 11:33 pm Hepburn Township and Trout Run Fire Companies were dispatched to a vehcle fire on Route 15 Northbound approximately 1 mile north of the Hepburnville exit. Engine 15 was the first emergency apparatus on the scene. The 1986 Jeep Cherokee was off the road with its engine compartment fully involved in flames. The passenger compartment was full of smoke.

The fire was attacked by Alfred Scott, Nathan Confer, Heather Buffington, and Terra Portanova. They used about 150 to 200 gallons of water to fully extinguish the fire,.
