*** Fire Fighter...

The fire fighter responds to calls of any kind. This could be a vehicle accident, structure fire, ambulance call, assist the public, direct traffic/assist police or as little as to get a cat out of a tree. With being a fire fighter there is of course training you must obtain to become certified to do the job. *** Fire Police...

Fire Police Officers are responsible for directing traffic and keeping crowds under control. Fire Police are to go to all calls the fire department responds to. Fire Police are under the direction of the police department when on duty. Fire Police are nominated by the fire department and referred to the Township Supervisors and after approved by the Supervisors, then are sworn in by the District Judge, to have Police Powers. More info can be found on FirePolice

*** Associate...

The Associate's support the fire department through events/fundraisers the Fire Departments may participate in.

*** Junior Members... 14-18 yrs old

Junior's are members who are from 14-18 years old. This membership lets these individuals experience firefighting in the basics. Since the junior is under 18, they must obide by the law set for workers under 18. Roughly, juniors may go to all calls, but what they do is limited. They would assist in obtaining tools cleanup etc. But must stay away from the fire.

*** Emergency Medical Service...

The Hepburn Twp Vol. Fire Co. has in the past been a (QRS) Quick Responding Service which it still provides as needed. In March of 2006 we place our fisrt Ambulance in service to further provide for our residents. If you should be interested in ambulance response becoming an EMT would be the most benefit.
